Scots Artist creates incredible time lapse drawing of Glasgow

A Scots artist has created an incredible time lapse drawing of the city she calls home.

Glasgow-based Gillian McNeill, a freelance illustrator and fashion designer, specialises in monochromatic prints and created the illustration freehand using only marker pens.

It features landmarks such as the Finnieston Cran, the Barras and Central Station.

The bespoke commission was created for one of her customers who wanted a drawing featuring places special to her and her husband.

Gillian, who regularly paints murals on homes and businesses, including a 10ft wall in an Edinburgh hotel, said: "I started LAW Illustrates recently, making prints for people who wanted to have a part of Glasgow on their wall but didn't have the budget or the space for a full wall mural.

"In the past year, it has since expanded to other key cities and towns."

Founded in 2018, the LAW Illustrates prints can be viewed here.

She added that being as sustainable as possible is important to her with her prints all printed at a local carbon neural business.
