Scots actress Karen Gillan gave fans a behind the scenes look at the difficult process that goes into getting her ready to film the latest installment in Guardians of the Galaxy movie series.
The Holywood A-lister shared a shot from backstage while getting ready to play her character Nebula, who is covered head to toe in blue make-up.
In the photo shared to her Instagram stories, Karen can be seen getting her hair blow dried by not one, but three different stylists complete with hairdryers in hand.
And she joked: "It takes a village."
With filming for the much-anticipated third film underway, Karen took to Instagram with a picture of the cast looking ready for action.
She posed with director James Gunn, his brother Sean, Chris Pratt (Star Lord) , Pom Klementieff (Mantis), Zoe Saldana (Gamora) and Dave Bautista (Drax the Destroyer).
Karen captioned the post: "Very glad to have the Guardians family back together with our fearless leader back where he belongs! This movie is gonna blow your socks off so GET. READY. PEOPLE"
The actress was recently told by director James Gunn that she should have four Oscars for her performance.
Karen, who has shaved her head in the past for the role, has previously admitted that the transformation takes around four and a half hours.
The new movie will see Bradley Cooper (Rocket Raccoon) and Fast & Furious star Vin Diesel alongside Black Mirror: Bandersnatch star Will Poulter as Adam Warlock.
