A Scots teenager who went missing three days before Christmas has been found safe and well.
Officers from Police Scotland grew increasingly concerned for Aaron Hunter who vanished from Dunfermline town centre on December 22 .
Cops had earlier appealed for information in their attempts to find the 14-year-old who has now been found.
Members of the public have been thanked for their assistance in finding Aaron.
A Police Scotland statement read: "We can confirm that Aaron Hunter, 14, who had been reported missing from Dunfermline has now been traced safe and well.
"Thank you to everyone who shared or otherwise helped with our earlier appeal ."
