Scots 13-year-old missing as family and friends become increasingly concerned

A Scots 13-year-old is missing as her family and friends become increasingly concerned for her wellbeing.

Kerys Lynch was last seen around 5.15pm on Monday July 12 at the A70 near to Hyndford Road, Lanark.

Police Scotland have described her as a white female with a slim or medium build and dyed red and black hair with blonde roots.

Kerys was wearing a Khaki green over sized T-shirt and light grey leggings at the time of her disappearance.

The 13-year-old is known to frequent Lanark, Irvine and other surrounding towns in Ayrshire.

Police Sergeant Durie from Lanark Police station says "Kerys has been missing for a number of hours now. We have a number of Police resources out looking for her and I am now looking for the assistance from the public."

Anyone who believes they have seen Kerys or has any information should contact police on 101, quoting incident no. 2862 of the 12/07/2021.
