Scotrail trains between Helensburgh Central and Hyndland at standstill due to signalling fault

Rail passengers are facing travel chaos this morning with multiple trains at a standstill due to a signalling fault.

Services between Helensburgh Central and Hyndland have been cancelled due to the fault at Craigendoran.

All stations between Helensburgh and Cardross will not be served and services have been terminated or will start in Hyndland.

Train services between Glasgow Queen Street and Oban will also be delayed due to the incident.

A statement from Scotrail reads: "We are dealing with a signalling issue at Craigendoran. Our staff have been mobilised and will arrive on site shortly."

A number of replacement buses have been put in place between Helensburgh and Dumbarton Central.
