Earlier this week the Scottish train operator cancelled all services from 4pm on Wednesday as a yellow weather warning was in force across the country.

They resumed a partial service today with most services running to a normal timetable with a few travelling at lower speeds due to high winds.

The Met Office have said that the weather should be cold, cloudy and sunny in the capital with low temperatures, reaching a high of 5c in the late afternoon.

Another yellow wind warning is in place from 12:00 on Sunday till 12:00 on Monday morning.
