ScotRail timetable changes introduced with passengers urged to check before travelling

Passengers are urged to be aware of some ScotRail timetable changes brought in today (Monday).

The rail operator has announced that there will be alterations made to the timings of some services. This is to ensure "a more stable and robust service during the challenging autumn period".

While most services will remain the same, people are urged to check their journey on the ScotRail website before travelling.

A statement read: "From 30 September 2019, we will make minor changes to the timings of services. Some customers may have to change trains as a result of the alterations.

"Most routes and services will not be affected, but please check your journey before you travel."
