SCOTRAIL passengers are facing disruption at several major stations due to an ongoing "network outage".
ScotRail's internet service provider is currently experiencing a network outage at one of its sites, which the rail operator said has affected connectivity at a "small number of stations and sites".
The affected stations include Edinburgh Waverley, Glasgow Queen Street and Glasgow Central, however passengers are reporting issues across the country.
ScotRail said the issue is affecting access to some customer information and retailing systems.
The rail operator said its provider is continuing to investigate and resolve the issue as soon as possible.
Users have reported difficulty seeing cancellations on the ScotRail app at certain stations.
Meanwhile, one passenger told The National that ticket payment machines are currently out of order at Glasgow Queen Street station, with the screens displaying train times and platforms also "broken".
They added that a member of staff at the station reportedly told them that "everything's f***ed" and "there's no internet anywhere".
Another commuter shared images of the disruption at Edinburgh Haymarket, which show blank screens.
