ScotRail say works will impact services between Edinburgh and Glasgow this weekend

Engineering works will impact train services between Edinburgh and Glasgow this weekend.

Track renewals will be carried out by Network Rail in the Rutherglen area on Sunday.

As a result replacement buses will be running between Carfin and Glasgow Central for all ScotRail journeys between Edinburgh and Glasgow via Shotts.

All journeys on this route on Sunday (28 April) will be affected Services between Glasgow Central and Lanark and Newton will also be impacted.
