ScotRail offer two-for-one train tickets between Edinburgh and Glasgow on Valentine's weekend

Two-for-one train tickets between Edinburgh and Glasgow are available this weekend as part of a ScotRail Valentine's offer.

Journeys on the Class 385 eXpress between Scotland's two biggest cities are going for buy one get one free, with the rail operator in a particularly giving mood – 10,000 free seats are available, after all.

The offer is valid on all ticket types – so singles and returns – and will be running on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 February.

ScotRail say: "Just think of what you could do with the money saved... a bouquet of flowers, a nice restaurant or even just a box of chocolates to share, snuggled on the sofa when you get back home."

They add: "Valid all day on both days, you can travel between the two cities in as little as 42 minutes to enjoy a romantic Valentine's Day out. With plenty to enjoy in both cities, and some fabulous restaurants and cafes to indulge in too, it's bound to be a memorable day out."

All you need to do is claim the two-for-one offer through the ScotRail website by clicking here. You can then purchase a ticket through the app, ticket vending machine, website or in the booking office.
