Scotrail giving free return and season tickets to the unemployed heading to job interviews

Rail company Scotrail are gifting free return tickets to those made unemployed during the pandemic who are travelling to job interviews.

The company recognise that it's been a "tough year for everyone" and hope to make things a little bit better by providing two return tickets a month to those out of work and travelling to interviews.

Scotrail announced their freebie on Twitter last - with the news that anyone recently employed will also be able to claim a free month season pass to get to and from their brand new job.

"We'll also give you a free one month season ticket when you get a job. Speak with your Job Centre contact to claim."
