ScotRail has issued an appeal to parents to find out where their teenagers are after a disruption at a Glasgow train station.
Police were called to Garrowhill station around 7pm on Monday due to youngsters causing trouble
A group of youths is reported to have been causing a 'disturbance' on the platform and interfering with the train doors.
Emergency services had to be called to the scene and several ScotRail services were disrupted.
The train operator said: "Unfortunately, we have police in attendance at Garrowhill station due to youths causing a disturbance on the platform and interfering with the train doors. We are working closely with emergency services during this time."
Services were subsequently delayed at Shettleston and Carntyne with disruption lasting over an hour.
Following confirmation that the disruption had been dealt with and services were running as normal, ScotRail issued an appeal to parents of the area.
They said: "Parents of Baillieston, where are your teenagers tonight and what are they up to?"
Social media users were quick to point out that there are often issues with youths on the route.
One person said, "Never have I been on a service on that route that isn’t eventful in some way" while another said "North Clyde is ruled by them. Please do something about this."
