Scotland women's team coach Shelley Kerr and Livingston boss Gary Holt nominated for Scottish Football Writers Association manager of the year award

West Lothian's Shelley Kerr and Livingston manager Gary Holt have both been nominated for the Scottish Football Writers Association manager of the year.

Kerr has guided the Scotland women's national team to their maiden World Cup finals while Holt has helped secure Premiership safety against the odds for Livingston in their first season back in the top flight for 12 years.

Also in the running for the award are Kilmarnock's Steve Clarke, who earlier this month took home the PFA Scotland manager of the year award, and Dick Campbell who clinched the League One title with Arbroath.

In the player categories, James Forrest, Callum McGregor, Alfredo Morelos and Allan McGregor are shortlisted for the player of the year award while there's no Old Firm presence in the young player shortlist.

Motherwell pair David Turnbull and Jake Hastie vie for that prize with Aberdeen's Lewis Ferguson and Greg Taylor of Kilmarnock.

The winners will receive their awards on 19 May.
