'Scotland, where men are real men' - Dog the Bounty Hunter's message ahead of Edinburgh visit

Dog the Bounty Hunter says he can't wait to come to Scotland ahead of his Edinburgh visit later this year.

The US reality star will be flying over for his first ever UK appearance at Comic Con Scotland in October.

The convention has posted a video from the bounty hunter where he talks about his upcoming visit.

He says: "We're on our way, we're coming October 10 and 11. We're gonna do a show called Comic Con.

"Scotland - my dreams are coming true... Where real men are men, and real women look good."

Dog, real name Duane Chapman, became a TV icon with his show Dog The Bounty Hunter.

It followed the Chapman family's bounty-hunting business in Hawaii and Colorado, where they were employed to track down those who had skipped bail or missed court dates.

The show aired on US TV network A&E from 2004 until 2012 when it was cancelled.

Comic Con Scotland takes place at the Royal Highland Centre in Ingliston. Actor Brain Blessed will also be making an appearance this year.

Last year stars included  Jean Claude Van Damme, actors from  Sons of Anarchy and WWE's  The Undertaker.
