Scotland weather update - full list of flood alerts and Met Office warnings in place

Wet weather is causing chaos around Scotland, with heavy rain set to continue throughout the weekend.

There have been a number of warnings issued for large parts of Scotland as floods and further disruption throughout is likely, according the the Met Office.

Floodline have issued flood warnings and flood alerts remaining in place until Monday with most areas in the country set for some sort of rainfall during this weekend.

Flooding of homes and businesses as well as disruption to bus and rail services is likely during this period of heavy rain.

Water on road surface may create dangerous driving conditions throughout the country, with journeys likely to take more time than usual.

So, keep safe and take care if on the roads of popping out during the next few days.

There are flood warnings in place for various areas around Scotland throughout the weekend.
