Scotland vs England: TV channel, live stream & team news

When Scotland and England lock horns it's rarely a friendly.

The two national teams will meet this week for the 150th Anniversary Heritage Match.

To celebrate the oldest fixture in the world, Steve Clarke's side will welcome Gareth Southgate's men north of the border as they take a break from their respective Euro 2024 qualification campaigns.

Scotland are flying. They go into the match with five wins out of five in Group A of qualifying for Germany next summer. The Scots are undefeated in 11 qualifiers, stretching back to the loss in Dublin against the Republic of Ireland in June 2022.

Their automatic qualification spot for next year's finals could even be confirmed should Norway and Georgia play out a draw on Tuesday evening.

The last time the sides met was at Euro 2020. That group stage match finished 0-0 at Wembley.

Here are all of the details you need to know ahead of this one...

When is Scotland vs England?

Scotland take on England TODAY on Tuesday, September 12.

The game will kick-off at 7:45pm.

It will take place at Hampden Park, Glasgow.

Is Scotland vs England on TV and can I live stream it?

Yes, fortunately, this match will be showcased live on television.

Channel 4 has the broadcast rights to show this game on the box. This means the game is free to view.

Their coverage begins at 7pm - meaning there will be 45 minutes of build-up to the game.

Fans will also be able to watch a free live stream online via the Channel 4 website and app.

Jules Breach will present the programme. She will be joined by Jill Scott, Joe Cole and Graeme Souness on the panel.

Team news

It seems highly unlikely that Clarke will change a settled team having found a winning formula.

That is unless there are any injuries that could cause a slight reshuffle of his pack.

Ryan Porteous appeared to be holding his hamstring at the end of the Cyprus match after his goal-saving challenge right at the death.

Clarke will provide a full fitness update on his squad during his pre-match press conference.

For England, Southgate is expected to ring some changes after his side were fairly mediocre in their 1-1 draw versus Ukraine on Saturday evening.

It is anticipated that Levi Colwill and Phil Foden will be given a chance to shine, while Harry Maguire and Jordan Henderson could drop out.
