Scotland v Czech Republic: The team you want to see start at Hampden and it's Hibs heavy

Whether Steve Clarke hands a Scotland debut to any of the three Hibs players in tonight’s squad to face the Czech Republic.

If it was up to the Edinburgh Live readers however, Scotland’s back three would be made up entirely of players from Easter Road.

Ryan Porteous was in the initial squad for the triple header against Israel, Slovakia and the Czechs.

Paul McGinn was then drafted in after Clarke lost a few bodies before Paul Hanlon was added to make it a trio of Hibees.

That did however, mean that Jack Ross was light on numbers for his team’s Betfred Cup game at Forfar last night, which they won thanks to a late header from captain David Gray.

Ross will be hoping at least one of his charges sees some game time at Hampden tonight to make the inconvenience worthwhile.

Having played twice in four days including 120 minutes against, Clarke may be tempted to freshen up his back line which could be good news for Porteous, McGinn and/or Hanlon.

All three might be pushing it, but that’s what you’ve picked as your most popular lineup for tonight’s game.

Scott McTominay has been deployed as a centre back, while Motherwell’s Declan Gallagher impressed against Slovakia, as did Andrew Considine, so we might see a mixture of one or two of those and one of the Hibs boys against the Czechs.
