Scotland head coach Steve Clarke has selected his Scotland starting XI to take on Israel tonight - with Motherwell captain Stephen O'Donnell replaced by Rangers' Nathan Patterson.
O'Donnell was Clarke's starting right-back during Euro 2020 and has retained the role through the World Cup 2022 qualifying campaign so far.
But Rangers star Patterson is selected at right-wing-back in Clarke's 3-5-2 system for the game against Israel at a sold-out Hampden.
Scott McTominay comes in for the suspended Grant Hanley in defence in the only change from last month's crucial 1-0 win over Austria.
A victory would leave Scotland four points clear in Group F with three games to go, two of which are against minnows Faroe Islands and Moldova.
Muirhouse's Kieran Tierney starts at left-centre-back. There are six Lanarkshire players in total featuring in Clarke's squad for the penultimate round of qualifiers in Group F.
Lewis Ferguson from Hamilton, Wishaw's David Turnbull and Kevin Nisbet and Kenny McLean of Cambuslang make up the rest of the Lanarkshire men involved. Motherwell goalkeeper Liam Kelly is also in the squad.
O’Donnell won his 12th Scotland cap while on the books at Motherwell in the win over Austria last month, equalling the club-record amount earned by 'Well legend George Stevenson.
Scotland's match with Israel is the fourth time the side's have met since September 2020.
