Vital coronavirus testing equipment in Scotland has reportedly run out in some areas with people struggling to get checked for the disease.
The Scottish Government has said that some people are having to be redirected to alternative sites because of difficulties in accessing PCR testing kits.
Covid lockdown curbs in Scotland were relaxed more than a month ago while some measures remain in place.
The First Minister said that the “gradual return” planned for when Scotland moves to its lowest Covid alert level would be pushed back until all the country moves beyond 'Level 0' – expected to be on August 9.
She said at the time that lifting all measures would “put all of us at greater risk” as she urged caution amid the spread of the Delta variant.

Now, The Sun reports that there are fears PCR testing for coronavirus in Scotland - which the Westminster government is responsible for supplying - had fallen short.
The publication claimed that test centres in the Glasgow area were among those to have been affected.
The Scottish Government is said to have issued an urgent plea to Boris Johnson over the feared shortages.
A spokesman said: “We are aware that people are experiencing difficulties accessing tests in some areas and have been redirected to alternative sites.
”The UK Government hold primary responsibility for supplying test kits to these sites and we are raising this with them as a matter of urgency.
”We will work with them and others to help rectify the situation."
They added that anybody with Covid symptoms should still book a test as soon as possible and that NHS Inform will give details in how to access a test.
The latest government data shows that there were 3,189 new positive cases recorded on Monday, compared to 31,914 across the whole of the UK.
