Scotland stars Jonny and Richie Gray retain squad places for France clash, which WILL go ahead

Scotland stars Jonny and Richie Gray have kept their place in the squad for their third Six Nations match against France on Sunday, with Gregor Townsend making several changes.

The clash in Paris had been in doubt earlier this week with France head coach Fabien Galthie testing positive, followed by 10 players and two members of staff.

However, two rounds of testing on Tuesday and Wednesday revealed no more positive cases.

East Kilbride brothers Jonny - an Exeter Chiefs lock - and Glasgow Warriors star Richie, are in the squad, with uncapped Bath back-row Josh Bayliss and Glasgow Warriors scrum-half Jamie Dobie coming in.

Returning to the squad are Jamie Bhatti, currently with Bath, Worcester Warrior Cornell du Preez and Glasgow Warriors duo Rob Harley and Sam Johnson.

Fly-half Adam Hastings takes his place in the squad, having trained with them since the end of January to aid his return from injury.

Scotland sit fourth in the table, with unbeaten France top of the pile.

France will be without several players, including captain Charles Ollivon and scrum-half Antoine Dupoint, who are isolating.

Head coach Galthie has been coaching remotely and several players have been called up to replace those who have been rued out.

Scottish Rugby had warned that a postponement of the game in Paris would leave them without up to 10 players for any rearranged fixture, due to the player-release agreement in place with clubs.
