Scotland players were left stunned by the handling of the World Cup group stage match against Morocco by referee Ilgiz Tantashev.
The Uzbek official adopted an incredibly lenient approach to the Group C encounter, with few fouls given.
There were moments where both sides felt a free-kick was the only possible outcome, only for the referee to wave play on.
Both John McGinn and Scott McTominay were denied appeals for a penalty as Scotland desperately tried to equalise in the second half.
Discussing the penalty incidents and the referee's performance more generally, Ryan Christie said: "The one on McGinn, I thought I had a pretty good look at it, it could definitely be given.
"Not much was being given throughout the game to be honest.
"I've never been in a game like that.

"At this level it normally goes stricter but that's the most lenient, maybe lenient is a nice word, but that's the most lenient I've seen a referee in a long time.
"Not to be, maybe another night that kind of break goes our way."
Lewis Ferguson added: "I've not seen them back so I couldn't give you a proper rundown.
"But my immediate thought was foul. I don't know why Scott or John would go down in the box like that if they weren't fouled.
"I thought the ref let a lot go for both teams, which I was pretty surprised about
"I'll need to see them back before I can give a clearer comment on them."
