Steve Clarke has named his Scotland squad and Che Adams' place in the 23-man squad has been confirmed.
Record Sport revealed last night that the Southampton striker would make the cut for the World Cup qualifying triple header.
But there is no place for Rangers rising star Nathan Patterson despite many tipping the 19-year-old right-back to earn a place.
The defender is set for an extended spell on the sidelines at club level with a suspension incoming for his Covid breach and that may have factored in Clarke 's thinking.
There's also no place for Leigh Griffiths with the Celtic striker not in the squad after seeing his minutes dwindling at club level.
Neil Lennon hinted in January he believed the striker could get fitter after battling back into contention earlier in the campaign.
And David Turnbull's wait for a first senior call-up goes on as he hasn't been included despite eight goals in 32 appearances for the Hoops in his debut season at Parkhead.
Jack Hendry also comes in for Liam Cooper with the Leeds defender unavailable.
But there was better news for Kevin Nisbet as he makes the cut up top for the first time but Lawrence Shankland is left on the outside looking in.
