Scotland will sizzle with a mini-heatwave next week as temperatures are set to soar.
After a period of cold wet weather across the country this week the mercury is about to rocket upward from Monday.
Forecasters at the Met Office predict the temperature could reach as high as 20C later on in the week, 18C on Tuesday and Wednesday and 17C expected on Monday in the Glasgow area.
Further east in Edinburgh it will be colder with 16C expected on Tuesday and 14C on Wednesday.

The north will be even chillier with the mercury only reaching 13C on Tuesday and 12C on Wednesday in the Aberdeen area.
Although it will be warmer generally during the day temperatures are set to dip at night with some frost predicted on higher ground.
Temperatures will plummet to around 8C at night in Glasgow next week.
A Met Office spokesperson said: "High pressure looks set to remain across the UK next week, which will bring plenty of fine, dry and settled weather, with increasing amounts of sunshine.
"However, with clear skies and light winds overnight it will turn quite chilly with the risk of some widespread rural frosts, also some isolated mist and fog patches are likely to form in places.
"Temperatures on the whole are likely to be warmer than normal, with the chance of locally very warm conditions in the west and southwestern parts."
