Scots will be treated to more warm sunshine this weekend as the early spring scorcher continues.
The Met Office is anticipating this weekend to be one of the ‘sunniest of the year’, with temperatures set to peak into the late teens across the country.
Thermostats are expected to be at their highest in the south west of Scotland, with a high of 18C forecast here on both Saturday and Sunday.
There is a slight chance of rain in the far north of the country, but skies will remain clear more widely in Scotland over the weekend.

This weekend will also be a significant moment in the calendar, as the clocks shift forward by one hour for British Summer Time at 1am on Sunday.
And it will be the second consecutive weekend of warm sunshine.
Scotland recorded its warmest day of the year last Saturday, as Scots in the Wester Ross village of Kinlochewe saw temperatures climb into 20.2C.
It was also the highest temperature recorded in the UK since October last year.

Here is the weather forecast for every Scots city between now and Sunday, according to the Met Office.
