Scotland's Six Nations clash with France is OFF after coronavirus outbreak

Scotland's Six Nations clash in Paris on Sunday has been postponed after a coronavirus outbreak in the French squad.

Earlier today, it was announced by the France Rugby Association that an 11th player within the squad had tested positive for Covid-19.

East Kilbride brothers Jonny and Richie Gray were both named in the squad for the clash by coach Gregor Townsend.

Scotland sit fourth in the group after an agonising defeat to Wales last weekend having claimed a historic win over England in the opening weekend.

An official statement read: "The Six Nations Testing Overnight Group (TOG) met today to review the situation in the French Camp

"They unanimously recommended the postponement of the France v Scotland match. This will be ratified later today by the Six Nations Council

"We will be working on the rescheduling of this fixture and will communicate the date in due course."
