Scotland's most unusual property of the week - Former WWI hospital becomes incredible dream home

A former auxiliary hospital in Scotland for wounded World War I soldiers has been put up for sale to buy as a potential next dream home.

The 10-bedroom property on Regent Street in Keith was built in 1869 on behalf of Colonel C George.

It was made available to treat wounded soldiers and sailors with non-life threatening injuries who needed to recuperate.

The Banffshire property was one of more than 3,000 places across the UK that were set up as auxiliary hospitals during the Great War.

The ten bedrooms within the building are spread across the first and second floors, with three bedrooms having en-suite bathrooms.
