Scotland's level four lockdown survey: Tell us what you really think of new restrictions

More than two million people in Scotland are being plunged into strict lockdown restrictions today in a bid to fight coronavirus.

Nicola Sturgeon announced the new measures this week, which will see 11 council areas put into level four - the highest of the five-tier system.

Non-essential shops, restaurants and gyms will close in these areas alongside a ban against non-essential travel starting from Friday at 6pm.

The First Minister suggested a "limited period" of the tough measures could allow an easing around Christmas.

The level four rules cover Glasgow city, Renfrewshire, East Renfrewshire, East Dunbartonshire, West Dunbartonshire, North Lanarkshire, South Lanarkshire, East Ayrshire, South Ayrshire Stirling and West Lothian.

Do you agree with the new tougher restrictions imposed on areas in the west of Scotland? Do you think that people will follow the rules?
