Scotland's largest electronic music festival Terminal V has announced a new 'All Nighter' event series

The organisers behind Scotland's largest electronic music festival Terminal V have announced a new 'All Nighter' event series, a brand new concept for the festival.

The festival took to Instagram to announce the exciting news.

The house and techno parties will run from 8pm to 6am and will launch this summer at Edinburgh's Royal Highland Centre between Terminal V's Easter and Halloween dates.

Some of the biggest acts in the electronic scene will take to the stage in summer for these all-night raves, performing on the Area V Warehouse Stage.

Edinburgh's Royal Highland Centre can take up to 5,000 people in capacity so many ravers attend the Terminal V festival every year.

The organisers have said that the all-night raves will be inspired by the nostalgia that comes from remembering the "simpler days of the 90s, when dancers picked picked their spot on the floor and kept going all night long'.

More details of the all-night raves are set to be announced in the next week or so, including line-ups and a date for the first event.

Priority discounted tickets to the All Nighters will be made available to those who purchased Terminal V Easter ticket holders.

The event can take up to 20,000 people and is a five-stage event which will take place on April 11 with a phenomenal line-up including Bonobo, Nina Kraviz, Richie Hawtin, Charlotte de Witte and Eats Everything. You can view the full line-up here.

Tickets for the Easter event can be purchased here .
