Scotland's Kilted Coaches grab selfie with Joanna Lumley ahead of guest appearance on her new show

A pair of kilted Scottish fitness coaches known for their fun outdoor workouts have shared a selfie with Joanna Lumley as they get set to appear on her new travel show.

In the episode of Home Sweet Home: Travels in My Own Land, which airs tonight (Tuesday, January 9), Kilted Coaches Stephen Clarke and Rab Shields show the TV favourite their unique brand of exercise.

The duo are known for their humorous work out videos which feature them working out in their traditional tartan threads (and not much else) amidst some stunning Scottish scenery.

Designed to bring a bit of fun back to exercising, the personal trainers from Perth say they are looking to inspire people to change their lives for the better - without the need for being stuck inside a stuffy gym.

Speaking about their appearance on the UK travel show, the boys joked that people can expect "Kilts, Scotland and plenty of banter with Joanna" as she watches them go through their paces within the glorious setting of Glencoe.

Describing Joanna as "absolutely fabulous", Rab added: "She was such an amazingly lovely person to work with."

"So down to earth, and with plenty of funny and interesting stories to share. It was one of those days we will never forget."

The new travel series sees Joanna make her most personal journey yet as she rediscovers the land she calls home.

In episode two, which will be shown on STV tonight from 8pm, Joanna travels through Scotland, the Outer Hebrides and Northern Ireland.
