Scotland’s hottest secret bar is bringing a taste of New York City to Glasgow

Scotland’s hottest secret bar is bringing a taste of New York City to Glasgow with bagels, cocktails, jazz and more.

AFS in Finnieston promises to bring a taste of late-night and early morning NYC to the neon lit sidewalks with the cool, the weird, the diverse, the stylish, and a multi-cultural melting pot of freaks, geeks, and everything in between.

Theatrical cocktails, and late-night low-down jazz vibes will be served up in the cosy bar that looks like something straight out of Brooklyn.

There's chequered flooring, neon lighting a hidden artwork and a stage for the talent to shine.

Owners say it has taken two years to make AFS a reality and now you can visit on Argyle Street across from Sainsburys near to Kelvinhaugh Street .

It's a basement venue, tucked beneath Derby Lane.

The venue prides itself on its Saturday morning snacks in collaboration with Bross Bagels but there's also dinner and show stopping drinks to be enjoyed at the end of a night after seeing a band.

A mix of New York inspired cocktails are on the menu (AFS)

A mouthwatering menu of burgers, grilled sandwiches and loaded dogs plus all day brunches, flat iron steaks, loaded fries and desserts will make sure you won't go hungry.

A spokesperson said: "There is no one signature cocktail here to grab Insta posts - because they are ALL spectacular. EVERY drink on our menu is treated as our finest production."

And what does AFS mean?

It's just Another Finnieston Spot.
