Scotland's five most beautiful parks according to TripAdvisor

With outdoor socialising the new norm and walks around local parks becoming the go-to for bored Scots across the country during lockdown, we've all discovered a new appreciation for our green spaces.

Shockingly, a new report has revealed the UK's top 30 'most beautiful parks' and only five of our incredible spaces made it into the list.

The research by flower delivery specialists Flowercard looked at parks in the UK and judging them on positive Tripadvisor reviews that include the words ‘beautiful’, ‘pretty’, and ‘picturesque’ they put together the top 30 of what they considered to be the "most beautiful".

Unsurprisingly, London dominated the top 10, with the English capital city deemed to have more beautiful parks than any other area.

Thankfully, Edinburgh's Princes Street Garden made it to third on the list while popular parks in the capital, Glasgow and Aberdeen made it into the top 30.

The first Glasgow entry is a bit of a hidden gem in Glasgow's southside with over 360 acres of green space making it ideal for dog walkers and runners - oh and don't forget the Heilan Coos.

A popular hang out for students in the summer, the Victorian era park in the west end is one of the city's best known green spaces that's in easy walking of the Kelvingrove Museum and Glasgow Uni.
