Scotland's Euro 2020 fan return D-Day revealed as UEFA make decision over four scenarios

UEFA will make a final decision on what a Euro 2020 fan return will look like on March 5.

Urgent talks will begin in the "coming weeks" as the governing body assesses its options for the summer showpiece.

Scotland will play Czech Republic and Croatia at Hampden after Glasgow was picked as one of 12 host cities while their game against England will take place at Wembley.

UEFA chief Aleksander Ceferin has stated he's desperate for full houses at next summer's Finals, with a vaccine for Covid-19 set to be rolled out imminently.

And European football's governing body have now confirmed they will make a final decision on one of four scenarios for fans at the Finals as early as the start of March.

Each venue will discuss with UEFA whether they are able to hold matches at full capacity; between 100 per cent and 50 per cent of capacity; 33 per cent of capacity; or behind closed doors.

Hampden representatives will have over three months to try and build the case for the old stadium being full for the four games they will host, including a Round of 16 match.

UEFA stated: "Each host city will discuss the scenarios jointly with UEFA, develop their plans accordingly in the coming weeks and a decision on which scenario will be applied individually in each city during the tournament will be taken on March 5, 2021."
