SCOTLAND’S largest open-air film festival is set to return to Glasgow this summer, with family favourites and nail-biting horrors on the line-up.
The anticipated summer event returns to the city as the Cults & Classics Film Festival kicks off from July 8 to August 3 at Queen’s Park Arena.
The month-long celebration of cinema promises 31 screenings, featuring Best Picture Oscar winners, with iconic titles such as The Matrix, The Dark Knight and Grease.
Throughout the day families can enjoy Disney and Pixar classics, including Frozen, Wall-E and Cars.
Evening screenings will cater to an older audience, with showings ranging from Gladiator to Donnie Darko and The Greatest Showman.
Festival-goers can enjoy a fully licenced café and bar, and film-themed snacks at the park, while there will also be live performances from local artists.
The Summer Programme 2025, produced by Inhouse Event Solutions CIC, boasts over 90 different events and activities, celebrating music, sports, wellbeing and community, most of which are by donation.
Chet Capinker, founding director of Inhouse Event Solutions CIC said: “This summer, we’re building on everything our audiences love. We’re especially proud that most of our events remain completely free or donation-based, ensuring the programme is accessible to as many people as possible.”
The Queen’s Park Arena’s Summer Programme continues to be a growing hit each summer, with this year’s festival expected to attract over 45,000 visitors.
