The 10 best universities in Scotland have been revealed in a new league table for 2025.
The annual ranking was compiled by The Complete University Guide, seeing various institutions across the country listed.
Introducing the list, the guide said: "There’s little change to the Scottish top ten universities this year with St Andrews retaining first place and Edinburgh, Glasgow, Strathclyde and Aberdeen keeping their spots in the top five.
"Further down the table the University of Dundee skips up one to seventh, swapping places with Stirling down one at eighth."

St Andrews in Fife, which was ranked the fourth best in the UK, maintained its position as the best centre for learning in Scotland.
It scored an overall rating of 94% and did well in categories like entry standards, student satisfaction and research quality.
The University of Edinburgh came second place and had an overall rating of 80%.
The University of Glasgow, University of Strathclyde and University of Aberdeen all made the top five.
Further down the list, establishments like Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen and the University of the West of Scotland featured in the top 14, receiving scores of 56% and 41% respectively.
