Scotland has reported no new coronavirus deaths in the past 24 hours for the first time since we entered lockdown.
Figures released by the Scottish Government this afternoon indicate that no patients who tested positive from Covid-19 have died since yesterday.
The figures show that a total of 2,415 patients have died in Scotland after testing positive for the virus, the same number that was reported yesterday.
First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has urged caution with the news, saying that: "We can't read too much into a single day’s figures - and we know registration of deaths are relatively low at weekends."
While Health Secretary Jeane Freeman, in this afternoon's Government briefing, said it was “very likely” that more deaths would be recorded in the next few days.
A further 18 people have tested positive for Covid-19, taking the country’s total infections to 15,621.
A total of 126,012 people in Scotland have been tested for Covid-19, 15,621 of whom have tested positive - a rise in 18 from yesterday's figures.
In the Glasgow area, as of midnight last night, 3,981 people had tested positive with the virus, 295 of whom were in hospital with confirmed or suspected coronavirus.
Less than five people were in intensive care with confirmed or suspected coronavirus.
