Scotland reopening survey: Tell us what you really think of lockdown restrictions easing

Lockdown in Scotland is easing next week, with pubs, restaurants and non-essential shops among businesses to reopen after months of closure.

Scots are looking forward to new freedoms after Nicola Sturgeon confirmed restrictions will relax on Monday, April 26, thanks to falling Covid-19 cases.

The First Minister also announced the country will move to Level Three lockdown, leading to some welcome new changes to everyday life.

Beer gardens, restaurant and cafe owners are gearing up for the return of customers, while gyms, non-essential shops and swimming pools will resume.

Those eager for a holiday will also be able to book a staycation, with tourist accommodation also given the green light to open up after almost five months.

How do you feel about non-essential shops, hospitality and gyms reopening on Monday?

Will you be visiting beer gardens and shops within the first week of lockdown easing, or will you wait?

Do you feel safe about going out to these places?

The Daily Record is asking readers to share their thoughts on the lockdown restrictions in Scotland.
