Scotland have officially been eliminated from the World Cup.
Croatia's 2-1 victory over Ghana this evening means Scotland cannot finish in the top eight best third-placed finishers at the World Cup finals and advance to the knockout stage.
Scotland finished third in Group C but will not advance due to being one of the four bottom sides finishing third.
Steve Clarke's side started the tournament with a 1-0 win over Haiti but lost by the same scoreline to Morocco before being well beaten by Brazil in a 3-0 loss.
The goal difference damage meant Scotland's chances slipped to less than 50 per cent, and it dropped below one per cent ahead of the Group L matches this evening.

Croatia's win this evening, though, means the wait is over, and Scotland know they will go no further in the competition.
