Scotland lockdown: Four more countries added to COVID quarantine travel list

Since 10 July 2020, Scots have been asked to quarantine when returning from certain countries due to the risk of bringing back coronavirus.

As cases continue to surge around the country, with 558 new cases confirmed today - including 119 in the Lothians - four more destinations have now been added to Scotland's travel quarantine list.

From 04:00 am on 26 September you will need to self-isolate for 14 days when travelling back to Scotland from Curacao, Denmark, Iceland and Slovakia.

The full list of countries you can still travel to is now as follows:

  • British Indian Ocean Territory
  • British Virgin Islands
  • Cayman Islands
  • Falkland Islands
  • Gibraltar
  • Montserrat
  • Pitcairn, Henderson, Ducie and Oeno Islands
  • Saint Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha
  • South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands
