Scotland lineup v Serbia revealed as Celtic star Ryan Christie tasked with supporting Lyndon Dykes

The Scotland team for tonight's clash with Serbia has been announced, with Ryan Christie in support of Lyndon Dykes up top.

David Marshall gets the nod in goals with Scott McTominay, Declan Gallagher and Kieran Tierney in defence. Captain Andy Robertson will be at left wing-back with Stephen O'Donnell on the right.

Ryan Jack, Callum McGregor and John McGinn will play in midfield, with Christie and Dykes in attack.

The Scotland team is as follows: Marshall, O'Donnell, McTominay, Gallagher, Tierney, Robertson, Jack, McGregor, McGinn, Christie, Dykes.

Subs: McLaughlin, Gordon, Paterson, McLean, McKenna, Cooper, Armstrong, Burke, McBurnie, Griffiths, Palmer, Considine.

As we all know, the Scotland national team has failed to qualify for a major finals in more than 20 years.

The winner of tonight's play off will secure themselves a place in next summer's rearranged Euro 2020 championships, with fixtures scheduled to be played at Hampden Park.

The match is being broadcast free-to-air on Sky Sports. Serbia v Scotland kicks off at 7.45pm.
