Ryan Gauld looks set to miss out on Scotland's friendlies next month after his Vancouver Whitecaps manager admitted he didn't know when he would return to training.
Gauld has established himself as an important member of Steve Clarke's squad and would have been a certainty to be on his list for the World Cup qualifying preparation games against Iceland and Liechtenstein in June.

However, Gauld has been missing for his club since March after picking up a knee injury during Vancouver Whitecaps' 2-0 win over Montreal.
And his Danish manager Jesper Sorensen has revealed he can't put a timescale on the former Dundee United star's return.
He said: "Ryan Gauld isn't back in training yet.
"We will have to wait and see what is happening with him."
Gauld has won six caps for Scotland after finally making his debut last year, but he looks like he will have to sit out the friendlies at Hampden and Vaduz.
