The Republic of Ireland will face Scotland for the first time since 2015 in the UEFA Nations League next year.
The Boys in Green and Steve Clarke's side were drawn together in League B, having last played each other during qualification for Euro 2016. Scotland won 1-0 at home, while the return match in Dublin finished 1-1.
The other teams alongside them in Group B1 are Euro 2020 quarter-finalists Ukraine and Armenia.
Scotland have enjoyed success under Clarke having qualified for this year's rearranged Euros, while they will host Ukraine in a World Cup play-off semi-final in late March, with the possibility of facing Wales for a place at the tournament in Qatar.
And the Tartan Army are confident of their side topping the Nations League group at the expense of Ireland.
One fan said: "No problems in this draw Scotland should be happy."
Another commented: "Tough but definitely winnable - pretty even but we should have enough to beat Ireland and Armenia."
One other tweeted: "Very happy Armenia no problem. Ireland could be a struggle but should be manageable. I don't know about Ukraine very inconsistent team but we should get top spot in this group if we're being honest."

Someone else said: "Very very winnable group."
But other Scottish fans are expecting things to be tough.
One posted: "Harder than it looks. Armenia are a side capable of an upset, ask Romania a team we looked to avoid and the fixture with Ireland will be special where anything could happen and Ukraine are a dangerous team. Would say chances of escaping group are 40%."
Another said: "Really difficult. Armenia are a really tricky opponent, Ireland are developing into a good team and Ukraine have some real class players. Still think we can do well though."
