Scottish football fans have gone viral after sharing a heartwarming moment with a police officer in Boston.
Fans from the Tartan Army were filmed playing keepie-uppies with the officer before Scotland’s opening match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Scotland, which is making its first World Cup appearance in 28 years, won the match against Haiti 1-0.

Scottish football fans go viral after playing keepie-uppies with Boston policeman
The viral video shows a Boston policeman surrounded by Scotland supporters as he joins in with a game of keepie-uppies, managing around 23 touches before losing control of the ball.
He is then immediately swamped by the crowd, all cheering his efforts.
The clip, recorded by Meeting Deportivo, gathered more than 236,000 likes on Instagram and has since been picked up by media outlets worldwide, including Sky Sports (Deutschland), 433, and SBS Sport Australia.
Comments have poured in from around the world, all saying the same thing: "Scottish Fans are the Best".
One person said: "Can we adopt the Scot’s to be permanent residents."
Another commented: "As a Yankee, I can definitely say that Scott’s invading the United States is the greatest thing that has happened to us this year."
This supporter added: "Scottish Fans are the best. I know what I am talking about! Love from Munich."
