Scot who went from Glasgow to Chicago for first date shares update from the states

We've been following the journey of a Scottish man, Patrick, who flew nearly 5,000 miles to go on a first date and since then, many people have been invested - including us.

Taking to TikTok once again, Bridget Kelly, also known as @fabledbridge updated followers on their latest adventures together.

And this time, the Scots man from Stirling, who flew all the way from Glasgow to Chicago, tried American food for the first time and it brought him a lot of joy - so much so it looked as if he was doing a very subtle happy dance at one point.

Explaining what they were doing, Bridget said: "We're going to start making videos where Paddy tries different things in America because there's so many different foods that we have that they don't have in Scotland. So it's been really fun having him try different things.

"I think we'll start the kick off with us going to this BBQ, it's called 'Bob's B******* BBQ'

"We just stumbled upon it because we have a little trip we're doing today. This is the first Paddy tries video."

First up was the local Root Beer which Paddy thought was "really nice" as he poured himself a pint.

Next up was cornbread which he also loved alongside chips, slaw, mac n cheese and beef brisket.

After sampling several sauces including 'BrewBBQ' and a BBQ sauce made from his root beer, it seems Patrick was in love with the food and spoiled for choice.

Taking to the comments people flooded the American with suggestions about where to take him next.
