Scot warns 'Covid is making haggis braver' after spotting 'beast' near Glasgow

A Scots jokester warned the public that Covid is 'making haggis braver' after stumbling across one near Glasgow.

Kat Berrie from Glasgow had been walking her dog near Mugdock Country Park in East Dumbartonshire when she spotted the 'beast'.

The 29-year-old jokester actually stumbled across abandoned faux fur but took the opportunity to prank Facebook users.

She snapped pictures of the object and warned others to 'watch their step' after her sighting of the 'creature'

Kat shared the hilarious pictures with the caption: "Found a young haggis in its natural habitat.

"So good to see them in the wild, less people out and about seems to be making them braver though so watch your step out there!"

Kat said: "I was on one of the back paths of Mugdock Country Park to avoid people, it's very, very boggy so I have never seen anyone else there.

"I just saw it on the ground, worked out what it was and thought it would be pretty funny to call it a haggis.

"I didn't expect that reaction at all to be honest.

"I found it funny and hoped it might give a couple of people a chuckle, heaven knows we all need a laugh these days, but didn't expect that at all!

"Also love that a good few people thought it might actually be real."

The post raked in over 800 likes with social media users quick to flood the comments with their thoughts on the 'creature'

One person said: "Has that haggis had its hair bleached? It’s looking rather trendy there for this time of year."

A second person said: "Ah it’s just a baby, possibly strayed from it herd."

A third person said: "Be careful. The adults are pretty territorial."

A fourth person said: "Are u sure that’s not TRUMP trying to sneak in to the country???"

A fith person said: "It's lovely to see them in the wild, pretty rare to catch sight of them."
