A cleaning worker was ejected from a pub by bouncers after becoming “upset” at being propositioned by a prostitute, a court heard.
Eamonn Reynolds was drinking in the Midlothian bar when a staff member, who believed he was “hassling” a group of women, had him thrown out.
Reynolds later said he was targeted by a sex worker in the pub which caused him to lose his temper.

The 33-year-old appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Wednesday and pled guilty to behaving in a threatening and abusive manner towards door stewards at The Buccleuch in Dalkeith.
He admitted shouting, swearing, acting in an aggressive manner, and uttering threats of violence and abusive remarks.
Fiscal depute Sarah Noon said it was around 11.55pm in the pub when a bar worker saw Reynolds “appeared to be hassling a group of female customers”.
Ms Noon said the worker believed Reynolds was “under the influence of alcohol” and asked a bouncer to “remove him from the premises”.
The court heard Reynolds “initially left, albeit reluctantly”, but once outside began shouting and swearing at the four door stewards there.
Ms Noon said the accused asked the bouncers, ‘What the f*** did you put me out for?’, then had to be held back by an associate who was with him.
The prosecutor said: “He continued to shout and swear at the staff and told them he would ‘batter them’.”
The hearing was told police were called and officers traced Reynolds nearby at around 12.25am.
Defence agent Cameron Tait said his client had been “propositioned by a female who was a prostitute” in the bar and Reynolds “took offence to this”.
Mr Tait said Reynolds accepted he should have just left, but was “upset about being propositioned by a sex worker”.
The solicitor said Reynolds, who works for a cleaning company, “engaged with police in a civilised manner” following the incident on June 29 2019.
Sheriff Kenneth Campbell QC fined Reynolds, of Musselburgh, East Lothian, £200.
