Scot slams 'sick' yobs who used Hitler and Jimmy Savile as play names when bowling

A group of men have been slammed as "sick" after using Jimmy Savile, Hitler and Anne Frank as their names during a game of Tenpin Bowling in Falkirk.

The incident happened yesterday evening at the busy entertainment venue in Camelon, which was said to have been full of families at the time.

Pictures sent to Falkirk Live show a TV screen situated above one of the bowling lanes with the names and images of all three.

It's understood staff were made aware of the situation, but the complainer was told that "there was no issue and they could do what they wanted."

The woman who did not want to be named said: "I really could not believe what I was seeing. There was a group next to them laughing and thinking it was funny. But it really was not.

"My friend is Jewish and she was suppose to come with us. I am so glad she didn't.

"The guys were only young, and clearly uneducated. It was my son that flagged the names to me because he said 'Is that Anne Frank, the woman I am learning about in school?'

"I flagged it to a member of staff right away, but they weren't interested and told me that they could do what they wanted because they had paid for the lane and were just having a joke.

"I am sorry. It's suppose to be a family venue and that is not the typeof thing I expect.

"What happened yesterday was making a mockery of victims. It was disgusting."

Tenpin said that they would not "condone the behaviour".

A spokesperson added: "Tenpin venues are family entertainment centres and we strive to ensure a positive and enjoyable atmosphere for all our customers.

"We don’t condone the behaviour of these individual customers and will be reminding our staff of the steps to take to make our venues welcoming for everyone."
