A Scot has revealed a genius recipe to make a square sausage pasty - and it looks mouthwatering.
John Macdonald, from Glasgow, came up with the idea during lockdown after experimenting with the Scottish breakfast favourite.
The 31-year-old whipped up a delicious square sausage roll and Scots are branding it a 'game changer'.
John took to Twitter and wrote: "Lockdown thoughts.
"Do you get square sausage rolls?
"Never seen them before so I made some.
"The new beefy bake".
John later told the Record: "I didn't think they would be so popular".

Method
1. John said he used pre-made puff pastry cut into shape and placed a square sausage - either pork or beef - inside.
2. Make an egg wash and cover the inside edges before folding the pastry over and brushing the outside with the wash too.
3. Stick them in the oven at 200 degrees for around 35 minutes until golden brown.
The incredible new creation was a hit with John's followers and has racked up almost 5,000 likes.
