A man is seriously injured in hospital after a horror crash with a lorry which led to a motorist being cut from a car.
We told how emergency services rushed to the smash between two vehicles in Grangemouth, Falkirk on Thursday afternoon.
Mercy crews were called to the A905 Beancross Road, next to the town's Rannoch Park just after 4.30pm and remain in place.
Five fire engines, an ambulance and at least six police vehicles are scrambled to the scene.
At around 6pm police did not disclose if anyone had been injured as a result of the crash.
Fire crews revealed that one motorist had to be cut from a car at the scene.
The motorist's gender and age was not revealed.
At around 7pm police confirmed that one man had been rushed to hospital where he is being treated for serious injuries.
Neither his age nor the hospital in question was stated by police.

The extent of the damage to the lorry, if any, is not known at this time.
The terrifying smash took place amid Thursday's rush hour, as police confirmed that a number of roads in the area were sealed off to members of the public.
Roads were still closed as of 7pm on Thursday.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman told the Record: “We received a report of a crash involving a car and a lorry on Beancross Road, Grangemouth, around 4.35pm on Thursday, 3 February, 2022.
“One man has been taken to hospital in a serious condition.
“Recovery is being arranged and the road remains closed.”
