Scot's dad 'worried sick' after missing son vanished after work two days ago

A frantic Scots dad has issued a desperate plea for help to find his son after he vanished almost 48 hours ago.

David James Montgomery, known as DJ, was last seen leaving Bruach Bar and Restaurant in Broughty Ferry at around 5.20pm on Sunday.

He has failed to make contact with friends or family since sparking fears for his well being.

Police are asking anyone with information about David's whereabouts to get in touch (UGC)

David, who is originally from Edinburgh, was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black jeans and a black cap.

He is understood to have been heading in the direction of Dundee.

His worried father, also called David, and several worried pals have taken to social media in a bid to trace him.

David Snr wrote: “Please if anyone can help, my Son David James Montgomery (D.J) hasn't been seen or heard from since leaving his work at the Bruach Bar & Restaurant in Broughty Ferry at 5.20pm on Sunday 27th June.

“He was wearing all black, cap, hoodie & jeans. If you've seen or heard from him please let us know as we are worried sick. Or let the police know on 101.”

Police Scotland confirmed that David has been reported missing and urged anyone with information to get in touch with them.
