Scores of frustrated Celtic fans claim website issue is preventing them from buying new Adidas kit

Scores of Celtic fans have been left frustrated and claiming a website issue is preventing them from buying the new Adidas kit.

The Parkhead club unveiled the new home kit for the 2020/21 season to much fanfare this morning, accompanied by a dramatic "not for second best" promo video.

However some supporters seem to be struggling to get their hands on it.

In response to their tweet unveiling the design, dozens of supporters posted to say they were having trouble buying it through the club website.

Fans would likely have flooded the website to check out the kit shortly after the announcement at 8am this morning, and demand certainly seems to be high.

Among them was Dom Richards who tweeted: "Still trying to add items to the basket, the site reloads but nothing appears in the basket."

Michael Brindley added: "Can't even pre-order as it's not letting me put items in basket. Sort it out..."

And DubaiBhoy1888 commented: "Nothing happening after trying to add to basket!"

@TheOtherBroony tweeted: "Celtic I'm literally trying to give you my money! Every time I add something to my basket the page resets."

@PeejPrime said: "Fix the site please. I'm trying to give you money."
